Why This Website (Blog)?

Hi there! Recently retired, this website is an experiment for me (Greg) to try using a blog to journal for myself and to connect with friends and family. Because it is an experiment, the website will be subject to change from time to time as my circumstances change or as my enthusiasm for the project waxes and wanes. .

Some Notes on the Site

• I have intentionally set up the site so that it does not include comments from viewers or replies from me. However, I am happy to receive greetings, comments, criticisms (as long as they are reasonably constructive) and suggestions. If you are so inclined, they can be sent to senioreditor@77tozero.ca.
• Some of the pages/tabs will be set up so that, because they contain private or personal information and photos, access is restricted to persons to whom passwords have been issued. These passwords may change from time to time.
• I started this project in bit of a rush so that I could start blogging on my upcoming trip (The planned trip to Chile had to be changed because of the wildfires). After playing with the website for only a few days, I realize that WordPress has lots of tools to increase/facilitate functionality and appearance. Ongoing changes to the website may be made as I learn more about WordPress by directed learning or, more likely, trial and error.
