Yesterday, I spent hours (literally) trying to set up this website. The advertisements for WordPress make it sound like all the tools are available to make the task of creating a website easy. There are indeed lots of powerful tools available but, for someone who was born before 1950, those tools (and, to be honest, the computer itself) are not intuitive. [Particularly, being a man, I am loathe to actually read the manual.]
I decided to proceed with this website at this time because I thought it might be useful and fun to use in conjunction with my upcoming trip to Chile. So, I have quite a bit more work to do on the website in the coming days to prepare it for that trip. [Fortunately, I do not have a lot of hair that will be at risk!]
