Portugal and Spain 2024
Yes, I am going on a trip with my son and his family. Originally, this trip was to be to Chile (which would have definitely taken me outside of my comfort zone). Because of the wildfires in Chile, we have changed our plans and will now travel to Portugal and Spain. Not so far out of my comfort zone but still an exciting change in my routine.
Brief Trip Description
My son, Jesse, and his wife, Laura, like to travel and they have planned this trip for their winter holiday. I have been invited to join them and their two children and I have gladly accepted their invitation. For me, this is an opportunity to change-up my routine and to begin to take advantage of the freedom of retirement. It will also be an opportunity to spend more time with those two grandchildren

- Day One- Travel to Seattle
- Day Two – Flights to Amsterdam and then to Lisbon
- Days Three to Six – Lisbon
- Days Seven to Nine – Lagos
- Days Ten to Twelve – Cadiz
- Days Thirteen to Sixteen – Seville
- Days Seventeen and Eighteen – Evora
- Days Nineteen to Twenty-One – Lamego
- Days Twenty-two to Twenty-Five- Porto
- Day Twenty-Six -Lisbon
- Day 27 – Flights from Lisbon to New York and then Seattle
- Day Twenty-Eight – Collapse in heap!
