Nothing spectacular to comment on today. I did some more tweaking of the website to adjust it for a trip to Portugal and Spain. I did pick up Euros and some US Dollars and I spent some time gathering some information on our planned destinations. Jesse and Laura are experienced travellers and like to do research in advance. This will be useful, especially if we want to find kid-friendly activities.
Laura has helped me figure out if my phone is compatible with Esim. Not long ago I would not have known what this meant. I probably would have guessed it was a phrase from a card game (just like the word “Muggins” *). My phone is compatible with Esim which means that I can purchase data and mobile services fairly inexpensively and so use my phone while away. This will be useful in case we need to locate each other.
* Muggins – Also known as “cutthroat”. This is an optional rule in Cribbage whereby a player can “steal” any points in their adversary’s hand that they fail to count for themselves.
