We had booked tours of the Colosseum for today but decided not to use them. We all felt a bit better today – Brandon less so. In the morning Marley,Payton and I went on a good walk to get out and to get some fresh air.
All feeling better in the afternoon, we taxied back and forth to the area around the Colosseum so that Brandon could see it and the Forum. In the end, we had another great afternoon. There is so much to see that I was glad for another opportunity to take in more of it.
(Author’s Note: I fell behind in writing these blogs. It is now the 24th. I am going to shorten the writing (hold the applause!) to allow me to catch up so that I am writing while things are fresh in my mind.
Tomorrow we leave Rome. There is still so much that we did not see but I am anxious to see more of Italy. I guess that I will need to come back!
